LGBTQ+: One community – two Countries: Diversity in New Zealand and Germany

The padlet is separated into four categories: There are pictures and symbols of LGBTQ+ in Leipzig and also of New Zealand. Then there is a list with definitions and words explaining all the important vocabulary, so that a sensitive handling with language is possible as it is such a sensitive topic. The last part is the most relevant for teaching, here are quizzes and games asking about LGBTQ+ in Germany and in New Zealand. The tasks are designed for 8th graders and they expand the students’ knowledge about each community including important places, vocabulary, laws and more.
